I ordered this kit because I needed one guide bushing for cutting hinge mortises and buying the entire kit made more sense.
The machining and plating on the bushings is very good. Much better construction than the Bosch two-piece bushings.
My kit arrived on a Monday with only one of the two lock rings included. The kit was still servicable since only one ring is needed and one is a spare. I notified both Amazon and Milwaukee about the missing part on Tuesday. Amazon responded almost immediately. They said that they could only solve the problem by exchanging the entire kit. They sent a replacement kit that arrived on Wednesday! In the meantime, Milwaukee responded the next workday that they would immediately send out a replacement lock nut. Wow! What great service! Thanks to both companies!

These are very nicely machined and come in a decent case. Steel isn't for everyone - it can rust, and hitting a steel guide with a bit will ruin the bit. I prefer it, though, as the softer brass guides can be accidently deformed and don't wear as well.

One of the locking nuts was missing from the set. An email sent to Milwaukee on December 31 was responded to on January 2, with a promise to replace the missing part. Can't ask for more than that!!

Haven't tried them out yet, but the quality is apparent.

The only way to improve the template guide set would be to add jig's with it.
